How cool is this?

I'm the photography editor for FLVS' Newspaper. I'm so excited about it!

Basically, my job is to gather photos and put them with the articles they should go with. It's also my job to keep track of them.

I haven't figured out everything YET, but soon.

Also, just to say, I am the youngest Senior Editor ever and the first Photography Editor ever.

I'M SO EXCITED!

EVENTS...

Whoaa! I practically abandoned my blog. Sorry (especially to my father who thought I left it for Facebook)!

Prom has come and gone... Another year passed. Wow.
It was fun though. :) My dress was gorgeous! I loved it. Now I'm out shopping for next year's.



Nothing much after that has happened. Ready for a fun week with little school, swimming and friends. :D

Summer is officially here! Mother Nature is letting us know. It was 97 degrees out today, but according to www.weather.com it felt like it was 109 degrees. It was too hot to go swimming and that's saying something.

Oh, and Happy Late Father's Day to my awesome Dad! :D Hope you had fun with us swimming this weekend.

Extra, extra, read all about it...

It's been so long since I've blogged, I can't think of what has happened!

Oh well. I'll just write about the things that I can actually remember:

- The whole gang (Lucy included) went to Lake Louisa State Park last month. Awesome, awesome park. They have all of these pretty lakes everywhere. The one huge lake, Lake Louisa (go figure), you can go swimming in in the summer. Definitely very cool, considering most state parks do not have any water holes/pools/lakes to swim in. We also got together with friends up there from Orlando, so that was fun as well. :) We hardly ever get to see them, so it was absolutely great getting together.
As usual, I took 300 photos during the 4 days we were there, but guess what? I did something incredibly stupid and hit the format button. Who knew that actually deletes everything off of your memory card? I sure didn't. So, let that be today's lesson - never, ever hit the format button on anything. It probably won't turn out well. You won't have any photos to put up on your blog.

- Tomorrow is the end of the year party for our home-school group, so we're going to the beach! I can't wait. I love the beach and I'll be there with friends too, so even better!

- We're going camping in one week! It'll be fun. :D

- Prom is in TWO WEEKS! Still haven't made my mask, though. Problems have occurred with it, but I'll get it fixed. What's a masquerade without a mask?
Well... still a masquerade. But not the same thing. :P

- My guinea pig chips has passed away. :( He was a very sick guinea (like his brother was) and died peacefully in his sleep.
R.I.P. Chips - I love you.
