My fingers are flying across the keyboard - I have too much to write!

Hi!

So. Let's see... Since I last posted, I have been to the South Florida Fair, gone to Arti-Gras, and watched Aly get her blue belt. Obviously, many things happen in the midst of all of that, but those are the main focal points.

I got sick today, which really, really stinks. It's only a cold, but I'm going somewhere on Saturday and I NEED to get better! I have been looking forward to this date since last year! It's a journalism seminar. Since I want to be a journalist, it's the ideal opportunity and I get to meet all of my journalism friends. :)
Aly is sick too and my dad has been feeling under the weather for a few weeks now. My mom seems to be doing the best. We even think lil' Lucy has a cold! She's been sneezing a lot and it sounds like she's congested... She's still sleeping as much as ever, though, so that has to mean something good. ;]

The weather has been absolutely beautiful here! It's sunny, breezy and warm, but not dripping-with-sweat hot. It's great! If only the nights were a little warmer - then the water would be warm enough to go swimming in. :D

OH, I just remembered something: Mom and I have been making our own jewelery. I make all of the beachy-looking hemp stuff and Mom does the oh-so-pretty earrings and beaded jewelery. We're pretty dang good, if I do say so myself. ;D We're going to be making all of my prom jewelery this year! She made me an ankle bracelet last night and it is my new favorite piece of jewelery. I LOVE IT. It is so beautiful.
We've realized recently that all of the expensive things that you see in the store, you can make. It's ridicously easy and the materials aren't at all expensive. We just go to Michael's or Jo-Ann Fabrics and buy the stuff. Plus, it's fun! I think we've found ourselves a new hobby. :]

And that's about it! I'll come on and post photos later of everything I've been talking about.
