You guys really need to check this out! - Mimi's Blog
I have tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard... Maybe that's just because it happened to me, I have no idea. But still, it's worth reading, I promise.
By the way... I didn't cry yesterday (I'm crying now though!). I didn't. It did hurt a lot. But I was being all tough. And did not cry. That hard. Maybe, like, one tear or something, but... I did not cry.
That hard.

Bad News, Disney, Good news, Disney, Halloween, DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY!!!!
So.
I will start with the more sad/bad news and work my way towards good. Here we go:
- My friend from Martial Arts is leaving to move to Africa. :( If I'm not mistaken, he won't be coming back for three years. All of us are going to miss him very, very much!!!
- I can't find my mood ring that I always happen to lose. Even if I put it away, I still lose it!
OK, time for the good news. :)
- My schoolwork is almost done. Trying to work ahead because we're going to Disney (I'll get to that)!!
- Aly's horseback riding lessons went great yesterday! She was one the best ones and the teacher used her for an example, so I'm really proud of her. :D
- My room is (somewhat) clean.
- Tomorrow is the weekend (even though I'll probably still be working because of Disney!!)
- Annnnnnd... WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY!!! :D I am SO excited, for many reasons that I will explain below:
- I'm going to meet my friend that I found through school! I've never met her before, but I've been talking to her online for almost a year now (in fact, it will be a year next month). I'm REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY excited about that!!!!! :D
- We're going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which, in my opinion, is better than Mickey's Very-Merry-Christmas Party (yes, I've been to them all). It's my favorite. :) I found this link online from a person that went to the party and took a lot of pictures, just to give you an idea: PARTY! I'm going to be taking TONS of pictures I'm sure, so I'll post them once the trip is over. By the way... We're not going for two weeks. :P
- Another reason I'm more excited than I was last year, was because last year we went to Disney three times. The first time we went because Dad was getting his air conditioning license (All Florida Cooling and Heating), but we didn't go into any parks. The second time was about a week later, when we went for the Jonas Brothers (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) concert. This time Daddy and Lucy didn't go, though - just Mom, me, Aly, Nana and my aunt went. The third time we actually went for a vacation in December with the family for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (yeah, we're all about Mickey's parties...).
- I'm planning on finding as many Hidden Mickey's as I possibly can and taking a picture of every one that I find. For those of you who don't know what Hidden Mickey's are, click HERE.
I think that ends all the reasons.
I'm trying to get Aly to go on Splash Mountain! For all of you that have been on it, please tell her that it's really not as bad as it seems from the outside. The first time that I went on it was last year. I always thought that it was this really scary ride because of the last drop and I wouldn't go on it for the life of me. Three? Two? years ago I went on Thunder Mountain though! I know! Can you believe it? Thunder Mountain before Splash. Last year I also went on Space Mountain for the first time, which is now one of my favorite rides EVER (I was just a little daredevil last year). I'm trying to get Aly to go on that too, because she's so interested in the space stuff - I think she would love it. And she's trying to convince me to stop talking about Disney. My aunt and uncle haven't told me younger cousin, Emily, that we're going yet, because other wise she'd drive them insanely crazy. Aly really wishes Mom had done the same with me!!
Unfortunately, we won't be camping. :( Something about getting a hotel room when you buy two tickets?... Something like that. So, we have to leave Lucy at home with Papa. We surely will miss both of them in Disney!
OH. Here's a good commenting topic: What are your top three favorite Disney rides ever? Or two or one, whatever. Just tell me. =]
And that's about it. Keep on Blogging!
XoXo,
Nina

My Random Question Answer from my Profile...
It's too long to put on the profile, so here it is:
Once upon a time there was a really rich frog, named Henry Doberly Matrist the Third, who had a lovely lock of hair. One day, an evil, jealous totally-not-rich frog came over and shaved all of Henry Doberly Matrist the Third's hair off. Henry Doberly Matrist the Third's advisor, Mr. Cinnamon Vanilla Cupcake LeRoy the Seventh said "If you visit the big old lady that lives downstream, so can give you a wig and eventually your hair will grow back." The next day Henry Doberly Matrist the Third sets off on his journey to find the big old lady with the wig.
And he walks.
And he walks.
And he walks.
And he walks.
Until finally! he finds the big old lady's house. Henry Doberly Matrist the Third shivers with excitement as he knocks on her door. "Come in, come in..." Henry Doberly Matrist the Third opens the door and...
BAM! He's back in his own house with Mr. Cinnamon Vanilla Cupcake LeRoy the Seventh shaking him. "Henry Doberly Matrist the Third, you had a bad dream! I will go make you some green tea to calm your nerves..." Henry Doberly Matrist the Third drinks the tea, calms down and falls asleep again.
But guess who wakes him? An evil, jealous totally-not-rich frog with a razor.

My Week Schedule, a Movie and a Book

Not much is cookin' over here... Saturday night we went to the beach and it was absolutely beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a better night. You can go to my mom's blog HERE and look at some pictures that she took! Saturday afternoon and morning were pretty quiet. We shaved Lucy and gave her a bath. She was thrilled, as you can imagine. ;) Sunday, Mom and I went shopping and Aly and Daddy went to go see a horse show of some sorts, but they canceled it because of Ike supposedly coming after Florida. So, instead, they went to watch people practice on their horses! They also walked some nature trails that were across the street in a park.
Monday we had Martial Arts which was so much fun! I have really missed it a lot over the summer. :) But poor Aly got sick so... not much fun for her. :( Tuesday, again, not much happened. I didn't volunteer because my back was really hurting me (it's better now) and I had schoolwork to do (which I got done, in case you were wondering). And Wednesday, today, was Martial Arts again! Tomorrow nothing is supposed to happen as far as I know. Friday we have a homeschool-support group park meeting. And Saturday I'm going to our homeschool-support group's pizza party for the teens. Sunday, I'm going to a Carnival sort-of thing. And that's my week! Exciting, no? ;]
To completely change the subject, my friend, NHS (don't ask why I'm calling her that, because you probably really don't want to know and it would take me a while to explain everything), gave me a movie to watch called The Princess Bride. Anyone seen it? Some people from Martial Arts have seen it and they claimed it was really good, too. But they're kind of crazy (not literally). So, who knows? I guess I'll just have to watch it!
So, now, I have decided to talk about one of my absolute favorite books of all time, Maximum Ride. Really, really good book, I highly recommend reading it. Basically, it's about a group of kids: Maximum Ride (or Max, as she's often called; 14 years old, the leader), Fang (14 years old also he's the quiet one out of the group), Iggy (14 too; he's blind though, so that separates him from everyone in the flock), Nudge (11 years old; the one who loves talking fast and for a long time and is also the one I'm most compared to), Gazzy (8 years old; take a guess why he's called that!), Angel (6; her personality and description of how she looks is so much like Aly, it's crazy), and Total (Angel's talking dog who is extremely funny and his description is something like Lucy). When they were still in their mothers, 2% avian (or bird) DNA was put into them, so they have wings, super light and strong bird bones, and other bird-like qualities. The book follows them around on their 'save the world' mission. Maybe my review made the book sound really stupid and weird - I don't know. But, trust me, every single person that I have recommended this book to liked it. So there you go. Read it.
That's about it for now. Have fun doing what you're doing and stay safe. Peace everyone!
XoXo,
Nina
